Depart at 8:00 am for a 1.5-hour transfer from Marrakech to the village of Imi N'oughlad, where you will meet a local mountain guide and muleteers who will accompany you throughout the hike. The journey begins with a climb to the Tacht Pass (2200 m), offering a beautiful view of the nearby valley at the first stop. After a descent to a stream, you will enjoy a relaxing lunch before continuing the descent for about an hour to reach the village of Tizi Oussem, where you will spend the night in a comfortable chalet. The hike, which lasts about 5 hours, offers the opportunity to meet the local inhabitants and gain a better understanding of their daily lives. When trekking in the Atlas Mountains, be prepared for changeable weather conditions, as while it can be warm and sunny during the day, the weather can quickly change with cold winds and other elements.

Early departure for the ascent of the Teouti pass, taking advantage of the cooler hours and avoiding the intensity of the sun. The first part of the ascent takes place in the shade of the imposing walnut trees, with a stop at the Tiziane sheepfold to fill the water bottles, without forgetting to purify the water from the springs or rivers before drinking it. The route then crosses a juniper forest before reaching the Teouti pass, located at an altitude of 2400 meters. After a descent to Assaka for a lunch break, we continue our route to Tizgui, a village renowned for its astonishing architecture and traditional water mills. The day ends with a stay in a guesthouse, after a total hike of approximately 5h30.

Réveil à 7h et petit déjeuner vers 7h30 avant de commencer la randonnée du jour. Départ prévu vers 8h pour un périple à travers les paysages époustouflants et sauvages du Toubkal. La randonnée débute sous le doux soleil matinal au pied d'un impressionnant sommet de 3600 mètres, en direction du plateau de Tazaghart. L'ascension, qui dure environ 2h30 sur un sentier relativement facile, offre des rencontres avec des troupeaux et des bergers berbères, enrichissant l'expérience culturelle. En atteignant le col de Tougdalt, nous serons récompensés par des vues panoramiques impressionnantes sur les sommets environnants, ce qui vaut vraiment la peine de l'effort. Nous entamons ensuite notre descente en traversant une captivante forêt de genévriers thurifères. Une pause déjeuner bien méritée nous attend à l'ombre de magnifiques noyers centenaires le long des rives de la rivière Azaden, l'une des plus belles vallées de la région du Toubkal. L'après-midi, nous continuons vers le village de Tizi Oussem (2250m), où nous passerons la nuit, immergés dans la culture et l'hospitalité berbère locale. La durée totale de la randonnée est d'environ 5 heures et demie.

Start the day with a morning climb of 600 meters to reach the Mezzik Pass at 2450 meters. From there, begin the descent to Aberdoune, entering the picturesque Mzik Valley at an altitude of 1750 meters. Continue the descent into the beautiful Imlil Valley, known for its green landscapes and orchards. Enjoy a delicious lunch on a terrace shaded by majestic walnut trees before continuing the hike to the village of Aremd, where we will spend the night, fully immersing ourselves in the local Berber culture. The total duration of the hike is approximately 5 hours and 30 minutes.

We will follow the canals that irrigate the terraced crops, winding between the picturesque villages perched on the slopes of the northern side of Mount Toubkal. With the help of a mule, we will reach the small village and the sanctuary of Sidi Chamharouch, located at an altitude of 2290 meters. The sanctuary, located near a waterfall, is considered a place of pilgrimage, although access is limited to non-Muslims. After our visit, we will return to Imlil for lunch before concluding our trip and returning to Marrakech.
