Experience a three days to Erg Chegaga from Marrakech :
Day 1 : Marrakech - Tichka - Ait Ben Haddou - Agdez - Zagora
Early departure to discover the High Atlas, Port T'ichka cross 2260 meters, the ancient kasbahs of Ait Ben Haddou, where Obelix, Gladiator and Babel were filmed, ...You will have lunch at the heart of the Kasbah Tamnougalt, then follow the south path of the Anti-AtlasMountains, cross the magnificent valley of the Draa. The landscape offers magnificent palm groves with Ksours, Douars and beautiful adobe architecture. Spend the night in a 3 * hotel with half board.
Day 2 : Zagora - M'hamid - Erg Chegaga
After visiting the pottery workshops and Koranic library of Tamegroute, we will continue to M'hamid. We will arrive at Erg Laabidlia, where a magnificent bivouac will be awaiting you in the desert. You would have the possibility to ride a camel and spend the night under the stars of the Moroccan Sahara!
Day 3 : Erg Chegaga Foum Zguid - Marrakech
Early departure to the foothills of the Anti-Atlas. After breakfast we will follow the RALLY– DAKAR route, cross the magnificent lake of Iriq and Foum Zguid to get to the Berber village of Taznakht, where you will get to see many women cooperatives making the famous Berber carpets, weaving-knotting-embroidering. Afterwards we will drive through the high Atlas Mountains to go back to Marrakesh.
