The camel, often referred to as the “ship of the desert,” is a sturdy animal that has been used as a means of transportation in Morocco for centuries. Thanks to its ability to travel long distances without water, it has become an integral part of ecotourism. To begin this experience, our vehicle will pick you up from your hotel or riad, and in just 30 minutes, you will be transported to the picturesque palm grove. After a safety briefing, we will provide you with nomadic attire, including a colourful turban known as a “chèche.” You will then mount the camel and embark on a leisurely ride through the lush palm trees. After approximately an hour of riding, we will invite you to enjoy a refreshing mint tea and take photos to capture this moment. Finally, our driver will take you back to your place of residence in Marrakech. Our team aims to be warm and entertaining, ensuring a pleasant experience.

Tour Location

The departure will be from your hotel or riad, and you will have approximately 45 minutes of road travel to reach the Agafay Desert or 25 minutes to the Marrakech palm grove, both incredible places for quad biking. We will provide all the necessary equipment for quad riding, and our guide will accompany you on an amazing adventure of about 2 hours. You will enjoy fantastic views of the High Atlas Mountains and Lake Lala Takerkoust in the Agafay Desert, as well as the oasis of 150,000 palm trees in the Marrakech palm grove. Once the activity is over, we will take you back to Marrakech and drop you off at your riad or hotel.
